A Level Results 2023: Press Release
Wanstead High School Sixth Form pupils are celebrating a morning of success in their A Level exams, in what has been a strong year of results which has seen pupils achieving a much higher percentage of A*, A*-A, A*-B and A*-C grades when compared to 2019 and at a time where top A levels in England have gone back to pre-covid levels. We are delighted that the proportion of A*s and As are above national figures.
Headline figures: 28% A*-A grades, 53% A*-B grades, 75% A*-C grades
Huge congratulations to everyone involved and to all our pupils! Headteacher, Emma Hillman, said ‘This cohort have had disrupted education over many years and not sat public exams before, so we are delighted for each and every one of them and applaud their hard work and resilience.’
