Our Mathematics Department is committed to developing confident and fluent Mathematicians, who are equipped to meet both the everyday numeracy demands of life, and solve more complex Mathematical problems. Job Overview
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic Head of Geography to lead the department, drive standards and show a commitment to school ambition and school development priorities. The Geography Department consists of 5 members, including the Head of Department. Geography is taught to all pupils at Key Stage 3 and has large numbers at GCSE, consisting of 4 groups in Year 10 and 4 groups in Year 11 (current exam board specification is Edexcel B). Geography also has healthy numbers at KS5 with exam classes in Year 12 and Year 13 cohorts (current exam board specification is Edexcel).
